Living Water Fellowship (LWF) is a Chinese Christian fellowship which is formed by a group of university students who study in Bristol. As the creative director of the fellowship, I have designed a new logo for LWF, and the logo is going to be printed onto the latest promotional products and the hoodies for the members.

“Whoever drinks the water I give them will never thirst. Indeed, the water I give them will become in them a spring of water welling up to eternal life.” John 4:14

(The motto of LWF which inspires the creation of the name of the fellowship)

Since the previous logo is so iconic among the fellowship and other Chinese Christian communities in the south-west of England, the droplet shape of the old design became the basis of the design of the new logo. I used the letters, ‘LWF’ (the initial of Living Water Fellowship) and chose a calligraphic typeface to form the monogram. The curved line of the calligraphic writing helps to create the shape of a droplet, at the same time, it suggests the gentleness of the living water, which form a strong link to the motto of LWF.
